Bal Harbor

Colour, Labour and Harbour have dropped their "u" in the USA. From Haulover Cut south, this elegant and well maintained 6-block stretch of beach is maintained by the exclusive residential Village of Bal Harbor. There is a great strolling/jogging path through the native greenery beside the beach that starts at Haulover Cut and goes all the way down through the neighbouring town of Surfside. On the west side of A1A (Collins Ave.) are the elegant Bal Harbor Shops. Considered on a par with Fifth Ave. New York, Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills and Worth Ave., Palm Beach. This prestigious mall is anchored by Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, with boutique shops the likes of Louis Vuitton, Brooks Bros., Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi and all the best designers. A real social gathering point.
