Driving (in preparation) | Biscayne Bay Cruises | Guide Services
Here are some suggestions for sightseeing tours in Miami. It is by no means a complete list, but I feel they are distinctive and a little different from the normal run-of-the-mill regular sightseeing tours you can purchase at your hotel.
Big Bus Hop-On, Hop-Off Tours
Miami Big Bus Tours - Hop-On Hop-Off Loop Tour. A good way to explore the neigbourhoods of Miami and Miami Beach. They use a old London double-decker bus. If you find room on the top, make sure you have sunscreen and a hat. The whole circuit without "hopping" off or on takes about three hours
Miami Art Deco Walking Tour
Learn more about the history of the City of Miami Beach, the history of the Miami Design Preservation League, and the buildings themselves. Conducted by local historians, architects, and trained guides, this 90-minute walking tours provides an introduction to the Art Deco and Mediterranean Revival styles found throughout the Miami Beach Architectural Historic District.
Miami Food Tours
Join a local for a walk through South Beach and into five of the best restaurants and cafés for bites and sips at each stop. Learn about South Beach's dramatic history, witness the preservation of the Art Deco District and experience the cultural diversity of Miami Beach.
Miami Duck Tour
Departing from the heart of South Beach, the amphibious vehicles provide a journey passing by famous Miami landmarks before a dramatic “splashdown” in beautiful Biscayne Bay for a close-up look at the many homes of the “Rich & Famous” on Star Island. The tour is a cross between genuine information and a comedy show but how funny it is will always depend on what guide you have. If you baulk at shouting "Quack-Quack" every hundred metres, this may not be the tour for you.
Bahamas Day Cruise
Spend the day at the World's First Cruise Destination Resort. Your experience begins when you board the San Gwann, which is capable of hosting more than 400 passengers with comfortable seats. It is equipped with a Bar-counter in both passenger decks, where passengers can enjoy a cold drink and a duty free shop. With speeds up to 40 knots, she is the fastest cruise ship in the Americas and will comfortably cross the powerful gulfstream on the way to the island of Bimini in the Bahamas. Your memorable day includes world-class service from our international crew and panoramic vistas of the Caribbean
Spring Cruise Schedule -Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Passport with a multiple entry visa is required for this excursion
Orlando Day Tours
These are daily scheduled Orlando Day Tours from hotels in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach that include round-trip Motorcoach Bus transportation and admission into the attraction of your choice. Additionally you can request Multi-Day Tours that include hotel accommodations! Bear in mind driving time from Miami to Orlando is around four hours each way.
